We have created an Andy Goldsworthy like art project. Andy Goldsworthy was a Earth art enthusiast. He utilized the nature around him and turned it into art. He did this with all different types of materials ranging from as simple as leaves and to as difficult and unique and large rocks.
I have built many creations of Earth art and here I chose four of them for my website. I built my art in multiple locations which allowed me to utilize the different materials in the environment. For example when we went to Project Sprout I was able to use many flowers and discarded plants, While on the Monument Mountain High School's wood trail I was able to utilize the abundance of wood with trees and sticks.
Along the way of creating my art I discovered that with Earth Art the art does not come from yourself but it instead comes from nature. Most of the time the Nature Art is delivered, it is not received because it comes in the form of a broken puzzle, which you must interpret and make your own and the most unique part about it is no two artists will interpret it in the same way. Which allows the artist to be far more creative.
The project did not turn out close to the way I imagined because we were blessed by nature and its ways that we were so fortunate with the land around us when we went outside to create art.
If I were to participate in this project again I would do very little differently because throughout this process I had such a good time and created art that inspired both myself and people around me.
